Apple announced the all-new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus at its September 7 event. Both the new iPhones come with Super Retina XDR Display. The all-new iPhones are powered by the A15 Bionic processor chip, which was introduced with the iPhone 13 series. It’s a big surprise as Apple never introduces a new iPhone with an older processor.

Customers can get iPhone 14 starting at Rs 79,900 and iPhone 14 Plus starting at Rs 89,900 from apple.com/in/store and through Apple Authorised resellers. Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be available in five colour variants — Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple and Product Red. Both phones will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities.

For the first time ever, Apple's 'Pro' series iPhones offer notable upgrades over the non-Pro models. While the display size is the same -- 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch -- there are some big differences in other specifications.

Apple has retained its pricing for the third year in a row but only for the ‘vanilla’ iPhone 14. However, the Pro models get a price hike of Rs 10,000 as the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max start at Rs 1,29,900 and Rs 1,39,900 respectively.

Both the new iPhones will launch in India in the first phase itself along with Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the UAE, the UK, the US, and 30 other countries and regions. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be available to pre-order beginning at 5.30pm IST on September 9. The phones will go on sale starting September 16.

Both the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, run on the company's latest A16 Bionic processor. With two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores, the new 6-core CPU is claimed to be up to 40 percent faster than the competition. At the Far out event in Cupertino, Apple also unveiled the Watch Series 8 with new features for women’s health. Apple Watch Series 8 features a similar design to Apple Watch Series 7 and has an always-on Retina display. The Watch Series 8 comes with a Low power mode for the first time.

Apple Watch Series 8 starts at Rs 45900 and Apple Watch SE starts at Rs 29900. Apple Watch Series 8 comes in aluminium and stainless steel cases in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm, and is compatible with all bands. Aluminium case colours for Apple Watch Series 8 include Starlight, Midnight, Silver, and (PRODUCT)RED, while the stainless steel case offers options of Silver, Graphite, and Gold.

Apple Watch SE is available in 40mm and 44mm aluminium cases, in Midnight, Starlight, and Silver finishes, and is compatible with all bands.

Both Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch SE are up for pre-orders in India and will be available starting September 9.

The Watch Series 8 has an always-on edge-to-edge display and looks very similar to the Watch Series 7. It comes with advanced features for tracking women’s health and has a new temperature sensor which will tell women when they are ovulating. Apple also introduced the Watch Ultra with an all-new design, including an extra button and cones with cellular connectivity as a default. Apple Watch Ultra is targeted at hardcore fitness enthusiasts and athletes.

The Apple Watch Ultra comes in a single 49mm titanium case— the largest display Apple has made for a Watch. After a gap of three years, Apple finally introduced the new AirPods Pro. This is the second generation of AirPods Pro. The AirPods Pro features a similar design to the first generation AirPods Pro. The new AirPods Pro still comes in just one colour variant — White.

AirPods Pro (2nd generation) will be available to order for Rs 26900 in India and more than 50 other countries and regions starting Friday, September 9, with availability in stores beginning Friday, September 23.

The Apple AirPods Pro features an H2 processor that aims to provide better audio performance. Apple AirPods Pro feature new personalised Spatial Audio. American chipmaker Qualcomm announced a new pair of chipsets: Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 1. Qualcomm claims that the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset offers a 40 per cent improvement in CPU performance, while GPU performance has improved by up to 35 per cent compared to last year's Snapdragon 695.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is a 4nm chip with an octa-core Kryo CPU clocked at up to 2.2GHz. The chipset features an Adreno GPU with Vulkan 1.1, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0 FP API support. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 further brings hardware-accelerated H.256 and VP9 decoder and HDR Playback codec support for HLG. The chipset supports up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

On the other hand, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 is the budget 5G chipset for Android phones and is expected to bring up to 10% improved GPU performance and up to 15% improved CPU performance over the Snapdragon 480. It is built on the 6nm node process, features a 64-bit Kryo CPU clocked at up to 2GHz paired with an unspecified Adreno GPU. Realme has unveiled a new entry-level budget smartphone, the Realme C33, in India. The company's latest budget smartphone comes as the successor to the Realme C31, launched in the country a few months ago. The Realme C33 comes in a new design dubbed "Boundless Sea." Furthermore, the smartphone features a water drop-notch display, dual cameras and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Realme C33 comes in two storage variants – 3GB+32GB priced at Rs 8,999 and 4GB+64GB bearing a price tag of Rs 9,999. The company also launched its new smartwatch -- Realme Watch 3 Pro in India. The smartwatch sports an AMOLED display and it is the first smartwatch of the company to come with multi-system standalone GPS and Cywee's professional GPS positioning algorithm. The company claims that the wearable can record accurate body movements and lasts for more than 20 hours after continuous GPS use.

The Realme Watch 3 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 4,999 and it can be purchased in two colour options black and grey. Customers can purchase the smartwatch online from realme.com and Flipkart.in starting September 9. Samsung unveiled the 2022 range of its professional audio-visual products at the InfoComm India 2022. At the ongoing event, the company announced the launch of The Wall All-In-One and Flip Pro interactive display.

The Wall All-in-One and Flip Pro will be available at Samsung’s exclusive enterprise partners in India. The price of The Wall All-in-One starts at Rs 90 lakh while the Flip Pro is available for purchase starting at Rs 5 lakh.

The Wall All-in-One comes in 110-inch and 146-inch sizes and is optimised for corporate office spaces. The Wall All-in-One’s installation setup features a pre-adjusted seam and a ‘Pre-Assembled Frame Kit’.
