McDonald’s Monopoly is back for 2022 and there are more chances to win than ever before, but some properties are still really hard to get.

The annual game gives fast-food fans the opportunity to win epic prizes by peeling off stickers that are placed on various menu items.

Underneath the stickers are either Monopoly properties or instant wins, which both allow you to win some epic freebies.

The best prizes are gained when you collect a full set of Monopoly properties, like two dark blues or three reds, but one in each set is always really difficult to find.

Here are the hardest McDonald’s Monopoly pieces to get in 2022…

Getting the complete dark blue set will win you £100,000 cash, whilst all the greens will bag you a MINI electric car and the yellows will win a £2,000 holiday with TUI.

If you collect the reds, you’ll get a voucher to spend £1000 on home entertainment at AO and the train stations will win you a £250 voucher for See Tickets.

To get a Nintendo Switch, you’ll need to find all the oranges, whilst collecting the light blues will get you some Grind wireless earphones.

Finally, the prize if you collect the pinks is an experience day with Buyagift and the browns is a McDonald’s Medium Extra Value Meal or Big Flavour Wrap Meal.

If you want to win, you need to make sure you choose a McDonald’s menu item that has Monopoly stickers on it.

Once you’ve peeled the stickers, don’t forget to Double Peel! This is a new feature for 2022 that essentially gives you another free sticker in the McDonald’s app.

All you have to do is download the McDonald’s app, which is available on iOS and Android, and create an account by entering your details. 

Then, once you’ve ordered some food and peeled the stickers off, you need to bank the sticker in the app using the ‘scan’ button.

Once the property is banked, you will be given a virtual sticker called a Digital Peel and your prize or property will be stored in the app. 

If you don’t manage to find a complete property set, you can still bag a freebie as there are millions of instant wins up for grabs.

When a sticker says ‘instant win’ alongside a product or McDonald’s menu item, that means you’ve won that and can claim it online or in store.

Details on how to claim your prize will be shown on the prize sticker, and there are loads of food items you can win too.

From Big Macs to hash browns, hot drinks to apple pies, you’re bound to find an instant win food item as there are millions up for grabs.

If you find one, just head to your local McDonald’s and give it to the server, or enter the code on the McDonald’s self-service machines, to get your free food.
